Rahman graduated from the National University of Singapore with a LL.B (Hons) in 2008 and was subsequently called to the Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in May 2009. Rahman is also a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians Singapore.

Rahman actively engages in a wide array of practice areas. His key areas of concentration cover civil litigation, general commercial/corporate advisory work (including tax planning) tailored towards small and medium enterprises, and finally also family law matters (which include matrimonial, probate and Syariah law advice).

Additionally, Rahman also handles specific areas of criminal work when requested.
